HELP, we were out doing a little sunset cruise when we come around a corner and clobbered a pot hole, busting a front wheel. Does anybody have one stashed collecting dust in which you might like to get out of the garage?
Thanks,
Bill

Bill, Check with https://store.revdynamics.net/
Slingshot Only has factories they takeoff when they do wheel swaps.

And email sent, thanks!

If somebody has a complete set of take-offs, including other model years, I would consider them also.

Location?
I have a full set of 2915 so rims with tires. Unfortunately the rear rim has a cracked spoke but the tire is new. Too expensive to ship to opposite coast.

We would be content just with a single front wheel at this time......................
Kind of unfortunate, but I have been checking out aftermarket wheels and I am finding that complete sets can be had for less than the current asking prices for 2015 wheels singly.

Checking out aftermarket wheels, we have a first generation Paramount Plastics Stealth fender installed. Keeping with the same 20X9 wheel, how much leeway would I have with the offset so to keep that tire looking centered?
Being the cheapskate that I am, with the SlingShot being such a rare critter in this neck of the woods, I have been mulling over how many folks would actually recognize "it is not supposed to be that way" if we replaced only the front wheels, even if they were fairly different in style?

Most of the owners that look things over probably would not notice. One of the guys did red/white/blue wheels....one of each color.

If I remember correctly that was mytoy red, white & blue wheels with contrasting red, white & blue custom lettering on the wheels
Back on subject though I personally think it would be perfectly okay to have one style wheel on the back and a different style on the front - - frankly if I were ever to go to a wider rear wheel that is probably how I would go.
I must admit I wish someone would make aftermarket wheel sets in the stock factory sizes - If I had to replace my wheels I see no reason to not keep 18's in the front and a 20 in the rear.

Yep, I am inclined to agree, so my first priority for now is still to find a single 2015 stock SL wheel replacement, or even a pair, if it/they are appropriately priced. I'll give this a couple of weeks and if this proves futile, I'll simply purchase a pair of aftermarket wheels for the front. It appears that this can be done for $350-$500 dollars for the pair. This will also simplify the search by not having to find a matching rear wheel with the proper off set.

After we get this wheel issue resolved I am just really hoping that we do not find that we have knocked the suspension out of alignment, for the closest choice that can do a three-wheeler is a place that does laser-alignments 150 miles away. At least a visual inspection has not shown any obviously bent parts.

Thanks, mytoy, you just made our choice of wheels easier!

been thinking about powder coating my factory wheels. Thank you for the pictures, they look fantastic in color.

It is good that you can take your time, with my slingshot being my daily driver I would need to decide what to do quickly to get it back on the road - - its one of the reasons why I wish there were wheel sets sold that were the stock size
