Give you one hint. It does bolt on the Slingshot somewhere....
Lets play "Guess whats in the box" for a little while.

A turbo...?!
(And what a beautiful dog! 👍) -
Ok. Ill give you one more hint. It is not used anywhere from the seats on towrd the back. So you can rule that area out..
And nope. Its not a turbo....

A Slingshot China Flu Mask?

Who's the little cutie pie? Eyes matches nose, matches fur. Adorable.
-
That is Lewis. He goes everywhere with me.

It’s a blower, or some kind of intake, or a fire breathing dragon. Could be a hot air balloon device for emergency only!
JUST SAYIN

Clown Shoes?

Ok. Ill tell... its a 200amp alternator.
-
Well watt do you know. Thanks for keeping us current.

THE SEX LIFE OF AN ELECTRON
(with unhappy ending)
One night when his charge was at full capacity, Micro Farad decided to
get a cute little coil to discharge him. He picked up Millie Amp and
took her for a ride on his megacycle. They rode across the wheat stone
bridge, around the sine wave, and into the magnetic field next to the
flowing current.
Micro Farad, attracted by Millie's characteristic curve, soon had her
field fully excited. He laid her on the ground potential, raised her
frequency, lowered her resistance, and pulled out his high voltage
probe. He inserted it in parallel and began to short circuit her shunt.
Fully excited, Millie cried out, "ohm, ohm, give me mho". With his tube
at maximum output and her coil vibrating from the current flow, her
shunt soon reached maximum heat. The excessive current had shorted her
shunt, and Micro's capacity was rapidly discharged, and every electron
was drained off. They fluxed all night, tried various connections and
hookings until his bar magnet had lost all of its strength, and he could
no longer generate enough voltage to sustain his collapsing field. With
his battery fully discharged, Micro was unable to excite his tickler, so
they ended up reversing polarity and blowing each other's fuses.

It doesn't appear to be working...
-
That won't make you go any faster, in fact, it will just slow you down a bit... nice job
-
Is that from a Slingshot vendor or were you able to find an affordable bolt-on alternator?
-
Amazon. It was actually not crazy expensive like some i have found.
200.00 and its a NEW alternator and not a reman or rebuilt product....
-
It had good reviews and it was not a 250amp which really would pull hard on the engine. When my bass hits really hard and im idleing ot will make my alternator pull so hard my slingshot almost dies.
One thing i am going to do when i install this alternator is makeing a new alternator to starter wire... It is just a small gauge wire that connects between those two components. I bought a new 16 ton hydraulic crimper, a box of copper terminal ends, and a bunch of dual wall heat shrink tubing with adhesive gell so i could do it correctly. I have a roll of 4 gauge silicone wire and will make the new jumper with it.
Now that I think about it , it may help a stock alternator setup to replace that small wire with a larger wire. I will probably make a couple extra jumper wires and if someone else is having their engine idle dip down when their stereo is turned up i will send them one to try.
I will take pictures when i swap mine out so yall can see what im talking about. Just check back here later today.

Wait, So I didn’t win a T Shirt!??!

Well that's nice but it's not going to 'break the internet'. Y'all got something else up your sleeve. Or sleeves. Come on man, spill it!
