In my not so humble opinion, Californians have already been corralled. You just don't see it yet. Meanwhile your government is rapidly moving in the fence. By the time you see it, it will be too late.

the way I see it you and I and anyone in any of the States on that list are all swimming in the same lake of shit and dealing with the same turds
also I think your view on illegals from south of the border is misinformed - I live very close to our southern border and in my life I have probabally seen thousands of Hispanics who have come here illegally and I have never seen one single homeless person on the street who was Hispanic, and every person I have ever known of that was here illegally has been busting their ass working hard trying to make a better life for themselves and their family - - from talking to people that work with many of these people in agriculture from what I have heard the vast majority dont want any involvement dealing with the government and trying to collect any kinds of benefits or welfare is seen by them as an almost guaranteed way to have immigration show up and take them away
dont get me wrong here I am very much against illegal immigration, my wife came here legally from the Philippines and earned her citizenship and it is a fact that people coming here illegally just makes it that much harder for those who want to do it the right way and that pisses me off
but I also understand why they do what they do - - - they want a job and they want to feed their family and in same situation I suspect you and I would do the same thing.
Its also another fact that down here in an area where huge numbers of illegals come looking for work - right next to the Imperial Valley one of the states largest farming areas - illegals are not the ones on the streets asking for hand outs, illegals are not the ones we see in the store buying their groceries with food stamps and illegals are not the ones showing up at the medical clinics held for those without healthcare - - - for the most part all of the homeless I see on the street are White middle age or younger men, and for the most part the people I see paying for their food in the marked with their food stamp card and middle age and younger White women
I will say that things may look very different up there in Washington, back when I was still married to my ex we had family up in Renton and they were constantly complaining that all of Californias bottom feeder people were always moving up there because that State provided better benefits than they could get in California
