I carry the spare's everywhere I go and I have bought a puller that is supposed to work but I have not changed the bearings yet. Now, before the recall I was pulling the axle about every 6,000 miles and greasing the bearings, yes, both of them. I have been here pretty much since day one and I do not remember anyone writing up anything on changing the bearings

We also had video at the time to show Polaris and they changed the bearings under warranty on two Slings before they did the recall. We videoed every time while we greased the bearings.

It was either here or over on TDS (IIRC) that I saw where someone had posted a picture of a bearing tool he made (and was considering selling, IIRC). It looked like it was intended to make it easy to seat the tool against the bearing and inject grease into the bearing w/o having to remove the bearing from the swing-arm. Unfortunately, a couple quick searches didn't find it, but I did stumble across @FunCycle's write-up on greasing the bearings - How to grease axle bearings

I was going to make something to grease the double bearing but I never did get around to it. There is no problem to greasing the pin bearing on the pulley side with the axle out.

The swing arm recall, some of them were breaking

Your tire noise is drowning it out

Ok so got to raise it & didnt hear a clicking noise like i thought i did, got to clean the belt real good and will look at maybe lubing these bearings come winter time

74,469 and no bearing worries or maintenance performed. I don't plan on doing anything unless it breaks down. Then I'll get it towed and rent a car to get home.
