I changed the knock sensor today with the original GM part. It runs fine, but I can't clear the fault code. Tried 5 times on off sequence, tryed disconnecting the ecu for hour, then drove it for half hour. Nothing. The code is still there. Any advice please.

Some of the codes can be cleared on/off --- others can't and need to be plugged into Mother Polaris .. As a new Slingshot owner the best thing that you can do is make 'FRIENDS' the the tech at your best dealership. My dealer is 120 miles from home...to far to drive my car for an oil change but just a nice early morning cruise to change the oil in the Slingshot.

Most of the dealers are good people. Lots of the 'codes' can be cleared by turning the Slingshot on and off --- not always ...
