Start Simple...
Volume, mute, mode buttons?
Also basic: If you are on radio, make sure it is tuned to a station. If you had presets, you probably lost them.
check the fuse....again and did you plug in the antenna again...
I did the push button stuff and nothing happens? and fuse is good can’t get the radio or station to light up on the screen, just the buttons on the screen light up and backup cam works fine???

was the battery connected when you did the replacement?
Maybe you shorted the radio out....

Original post...
That thing that started this thread...
Reads, radio quit working after replacing battery.
Pretty sure that means he disconnected the battery to swap the battery out.
My infotainment center glitches occasionally...
Blank screen... dunno why.
When it does, I turn the key off, turn the key on and let the dash reboot til the gage needles return home before hitting the start button.
I assume that your Slingshot starts and runs after swapping the battery.
Maybe one of these stereo gurus will weigh-in.
Runs great, hopefully stereo guys have the answer

Hard to troubleshoot from here.
Read through my response...
Make your own choice.
Last thing done first place to start.
I ask about it starting.
To determine battery connections.
But, with the amount of paint back in that area...
Ground could be weak and arcing on ignition press.
Double check both ends of both cables...
You may have inadvertantly loosened, rotated a cable to the Slingshot.
Any chance you banged the J-box in the battery area.
Two 50 amp and one 40 amp breaker in there.
Fuses on the front side, wire hook up harness on the backside.
And although this would be odd...
The stereo display unit is the head unit, separate of the amp and radio box which lays inside the tunnel behind the display. The amp and radio box will work without the head unit but you would be unable to control/select function. Disconnecting/reconnecting the battery would have defaulted the unit to a silent mode. There are two plugs feeding the head unit on the back. Can't tell you that one is the backup camera and the other is the radio unit. I can say that there have been many connectors that did not click home during assembly. It is possible that you had a loose connector that arced and now has an air gap.
That's the best I can do from here since I can't visually check to see that all other sytems are operating...
Lights, turn signals, horn, dash, gauges; etc.
Standing at the mountain top looking for a guru...
Getting lonely up here.
everything on the 50 amp circuit would stop working if it was the fuse or the j-case connection. The problem has to be the radio unit.
I would disconnect the radio power from the SS and use a 9 volt battery to see if I could make static come out of the speakers...Maybe it just coincidentally died. How old is the SS? Does the radio have an internal fuse?
does the horn work?
I have 3 Slingshots and this one only has 1000 miles on it, never been out in bad weather, garage kept. Thanks for all your input, I will chase some if these ideas. 👍👍👍
