Okay, I did a quick search for an existing thread and didn't see one, so here goes. My clutch feels like it grabs awfully high, in my opinion, and I want to adjust it so that it engages lower to the floor. Has anyone done that on their own? I live about 500 yds from a Polaris dealership that would probably do it for free, but I want to learn to do it myself and figure there's bound to be someone here that can help... 🤔
Clutch Cable Adjustment

The clutch is hydraulically actuated. There is no cable to adjust. Someone else may be able to chime in about any possible adjustment.
-
Yep, uses brake fluid. Little round reservoir close to the brake reservoir.
-
The clutch is self adjusting. The only thing to do is check the fluid level (Dot 4)

Okay, thanks for educating me. You can see how many years it's been since I've adjusted a clutch. That technology of self-adjusting, hydraulic clutches didn't even exist then... lol

Just as a continuation of your education Toyota was using this system in the 70s
Might have been others before that.

It's interesting how we think some things are NEW. Like AVC automatic volume control... My 1984 Gold Wing had it.

In 1984, I was in Korea, a Private in the Army, where I met my wife and we were married two years later... 😉

I was there in 86-88 - Camp Hovey up near the DMZ. Met a lot of girls but never made them my wife.
