That driver is absolutely amazing. Seriously ...
I’d rather see them doing that than cutting off heads....

This is brilliant! We're doing a wave resonance demo for children at a local school next week, I may try this!

And the teacher continues to learn.
Not a video, but a fun toy for those with the requisite maturity to use it!

In my 7th grade science classroom, there was a picture that had gotten covered in spit-balls during the school year.
Is it just me. or does anyone else lay awake all night, trying to figure out how that damn hinge at his hand works

I LOVE the disclaimer on this...
"Toilet paper not included... (We hope you already have some of this at home!)

When I was a boy, this would have been taken away from me in 15 minutes. Now that I'm an adult, I'd last 5. Unless, of course, I was left unsupervised!

That's the autoduplex full inversion hinge that I invented in the nineties. I never applied for a patent. Dammit!
If you figure that out would you please explain this one to me?

It's the marble of engineering.
Occasionally, someone finds a way to use it...
But for most of us, it's just one more of the many marbles we loose along the road of life.
If you figure that out would you please explain this one to me?
Easy. The upper "angled piece" is just a little longer at the angle. Look at the low block on the right hand side, and compare it to the lower block on the "lowered angled piece" that moves upward to the right. The slight difference isn't easily noticed, and spread over the 3 blocks wide makes up for the one "extra" rectangular piece.
Slick the way they did it though!

They actually just fudge it. When the pieces are separated they clearly won't go together to form full rectangles, they use magic to fill the gap right as the pieces merge together.
I just saw your responses Goats_Hogs and WOLF . You saved me some time today. I knew it was an optical delusion and planned to use a piece of paper and scissors to replicate this and find the 'fudge'. Now I can use that time for something much more productive like shooting moles!
I don't know why I never saw this before from 6 years ago. But all I can say is WOW. Glad the driver's injuries were not worse (driver passed out from the heat while backing up and sustained broken ribs upon impact). Scary as all hell for suck a slow impact crash.
All of these links are from Popular Mechanics.
This first link not a video, but allegedly a story about HR sending a letter to an employee complaining about how old his car is and evidently attacking his character because he owns an older car -

Again, this isn't a video either, but it looks like DeLoreans will be manufacured agin thaanks to the Low-VColume manufacturers Act of 2015 - https://www.popularmechanics.c…elorean-dmc-12-confirmed/.
