Why would a teensy little mod void the warranty?

Reminds me of a certain fireman that claimed Polaris screwed him when his rear wheel broke and caused him to crash. They wouldn't cover the work under warranty. After getting everyone worked up about defective wheels the accident report was released. Low and behold he was drunk, lost control around a corner, spun out and hit a curb sideways breaking the wheel plus other damage.

Shocking! I think it was a"plug" for his business. He'll probably replace with paddles and the Electric boat company will take exception.

Theres a lot of cry babes on Harley forums that modified their exhaust and add a non approved tuner on their 2017 and newer bike/trike.....And when they take it in for warranty work at a dealer 'The dealer plugs the bike into Harleys Electronic Tattletale...And their VIN# is flagged...IE void warranty ....
