I can relate, what with starting out 2020 being evacuated away from a volcano in the Philippines in January, to the world is falling apart from a virus in March it does have me in a "whats next" frame of mind - - If you want to get biblical an attack of killed bugs would be about right

I'd like to take that idiot that completely ignored company policy and entered a Costco without a face mask, claiming he wasn't going to wear one because, last he knew, he woke up in a free country and didn't feel like he had to comply, and put him on a fucking plane to north Korea. If he thinks for even one second that I'm going to stand behind him or feel sorry for him because he believes he's the victim of Costco's draconian policy, let him spend a few days in Pyongyang and see how he feels when he attempts to "non-comply" with some of their policies... Fuck his fat ass and his cart full of toilet paper, which they took from him before kicking him out... (Drops microphone) 😎
It amazes me how people don't understand private property rights. The store is private property and the owner or person in charge of the property sets the rules. If you don't like the rules on someone else's property stay off it.

That idiot got up in the morning and ate food produced in a REGULATED environment, drove to the store on roads REGULATED for traffic pattern and speed, in a car REGULATED by needing a license and insurance on the vehicle and license for the driver, he stopped at STOP signs and red lights. Once in the store, he chose products manufactured in REGULATED environments, delivered to the store on aforementioned REGULATED roads by drivers working under REGULATED conditions. And he whines about his freedom. Even the air he sucks in is REGULATED.
He should stay home, eat his grass and wipe his ass on a hand full of dirt. He could totally bypass any and all regulations.
If he wants to live in a place where he would be totally free, he can move to the South Pole.
The sane people in the store should have held him down and put a duct tape mask on him. Several layers thick. Or, better yet, hook him up to a ventilator for a month.

our casinos are going to open with lots of rules....they have to figure out how to disinfect the chips and how often. Plexiglass between slots...no poker tables open....haven’t figured out how to handle the smoking issue...Nobody observing behind the bettors ....can't remember the rest....Some slots will be closed off for social distancing...sounds like infections waiting to happen .....hope she stays safe...
well, supposedly they have cleaned everything and also sprayed town every "touch surface" with something called MicroShield 360 which is supposed reduce germs on treated surfaces by 99% and is said to last a full year. this along with the changes like those that you mention will hopefully keep my wife and our whole family safe - - my wife is very good about washing her hands and will be required to wear a face covering so this should be a pretty good test for the rest of the non Indian Land parts of the country to see how well this attempt at getting beck to normal works
if you all stop hearing from me that will indicate that it didnt work

the key word that so many people seem to forget is "social" - - its no different or more reliable than a room full of people talking to each other. Anyone can say anything they wish and it is up to the listener to do their own fact checking
one of the things that drives me crazy about "social" media is the way people will just blindly re-post things without making any attempt whatsoever to verify what they are sharing is true - seriously someone could post that Trump was born on mars and idiots would just blindly re-post it and share it as if it were a fact - - - just because a "friend" who they dont even really know posted it.

Yep same here total waste of time. Younger generation sure doesn't know how to communicate face-to-face or over the phone. It's a hell of a lot easier to send a text because you really don't have to interact on a real-time basis.

My wife is from the Philippines and for her facebook and its messenger & video chat features have been absolutely wonderful - using those features through facebook allows her to keep in touch face to face with family at no cost to us or them - at least 3 or 4 times a week she will be video chatting with a sister or cousin often for almost an hour
it has many huge flaws and yes I do from time to time have to remind her not to just re=post something because someone she knows shared, but in my opinion for her and the ability it gives her to keep in touch with family half way around the world there is no better option - if she had to go back to phone calls as her only option our costs would skyrocket and many of her family members would not be ablw to afford it at all
so people can knock facebook all they want, but until you can offer us another way that offers free video chat all the way around the world to anyone with a smart phone or computer then it will be something w use
as a side note there are also some very good Slingshot facebook groups that are very handy for local group activities and rides - so there is a chance you might even be missing out on rides you dont even know about

Google Hangouts, Skype, Webex, Zoom, facetime (if both have an iOS device)
These are just some of your options that are free, or have free options.

ahem, have you looked at their privacy sharing policies?!?! I signed up pretty soon after it became public, long before it needed to know my birthdate, where I went to school, etc. Their partners all get to share in what info you provide with no way to opt out that I could find easily.
If I login now, it prompts me to answer a lot of question and I refuse. From my understanding, these are required now when you create a new account.
I can't even login without them notifying others that I did, no thanks. I logged in once last year to sign up for a slingshot ride for the kids team, because I couldn't find another way to get in touch with the team.
