Actually our country is part of it. Rumor has it the Dems are behind it. The first virus case appeared on the west coast on the exact same day Pelosi was matching the articles of impeachment over to the senate. Was that the reason she held them so long? we just found out what losing our middle class to China from NAFTA and stupid trade deals... did for us...killed millions of jobs. Killed many small businesses...

I stopped buy Chinese junk from sears...The CEOs of many of these companies Think the way to survive is to start selling Chinese crap....They lost me as a customer...if I have a choice between American tools and Chinese's junk.....I want American....

remember over 100,000 steel workers lost their jobs from NAFTA which Bill Clinton signed...for every steel worker job lost 14 jobs in related industries were lost....that’s over 1 million jobs...

Most Americans have settled for the cheap Chinese junk because they aren’t making as much money after losing their good paying jobs....If Americans Had those jobs back they would be happy to buy American again...you want to help this country get back on track...start buying American made products right now....Having worked in a steel mill I’m always looking to see where are things are made....constantly seeing China pisses me off. First because I know that’s somebody’s job and second because I know it’s a piece of crap....

Trump had been trying to bring them back since day one....Offering tax incentives and other Perks to entice them back. We need these jobs to build our GDP up. To put more tax dollars in the coffers...Forcing China into this trade deal was huge....same with Mexico and Canada...more American jobs makes us a stronger society and a stronger economy. The lower our unemployment numbers are the stronger we get. Again this all goes back to corporate greed.....if we get our product made in China our profits go up......but everything else goes down....Our jobs ....our wages, our tax base....our military security....

We were sold down the river....decades ago....this was part of the plan to weaken us militarily. A country that can’t make And supply its own war machine will certainly lose... Trump fixed that will about 2 trillion dollars...we need to remain the global power...

if they make all those things here and tax the shit out of the chinese stuff so the price is the same then what are you going to buy? That’s the problem....when the Chinese crap dominated the market....how many choices were there? Apple is supposed to start assembling its Mac Pro computers in Texas which will allow them to avoid tariffs - but they had to get a federal product exclusion because they will still have to import some of the parts from China

fact is there is almost nothing with modern electronics that doesnt require parts that are made in China - - - even electronics made in countries like South Korea rely on chips and other electronics made in China.

Be careful with stuff from China too. The last time I bought a name brand flashdrive from Best Buy, I ran a virus scan on it right out of the package & it had 4 viruses loaded on it. Just a friendly warning...

Relying on some Chinese parts can still be rectified....why can’t we make our Own electronics.....because of corporate greed....no other reason....Anything they can do we can do better .....it all comes down to US corporate Greed...

If for my company to continue to be viable I need to ship 1000 manufacturing jobs to china so I can keep the other 10000s employed... that is a no brainer.

We are a capitalist society, some of you forget what that means, it is survival of the fittest, not lets hold hands and sing kumbaya.

decades ago.....when you worked for a company there was some appreciation for your hard work and your dedication to the company....and if you had kids they could get a job with that company too....corporate greed changed all that....

if we take the Chinese and Indians and Vietnamese And Mexicans off the table And American companies can’t farm out jobs to foreign countries if there are able bodied Americans willing and waiting....That will save American jobs....CEOs don’t have to make millions of dollars by firing employees....having employees that were paid decent wages with good benefits used to be a source of pride for companies and owners....then corporate greed stepped in....have to keep stock holders happy at the expense of good wages and benefits..why should American workers be paid less with less benefits just to keep a stockholder happy? The workers are the ones making the products with their sweat....putting the long hours.....a stockholder is lying there filing his nails...making money on my back...owning stock shouldn't give you the right to own the workers...and see how much we can force them to concede ....

Our company owner wanted us to take contract concessions at the same time it was in the paper that he Just gave $5 million dollars to the Pittsburgh symphony....sound ok to you? Take money from my family so you can be a big shot Symphony donor? scRew you...that didn’t go over too well with us...

I ordered the new Apple Imac and it came from China.... I was surprised, when I got the shipping notification that it had shipped from Shanghai on Tuesday and I received it on Thursday same week....

Was true a very long time ago, but most of the worker protections that the unions originally fought for are now incorporated into State and Federal worker protection laws - - these days when you have teacher union leaders making 350k to 500k when the teachers they represent are woefully underpaid I think unions have become more about enriching their leaders than actually doing much if anything for the employees

yes - we have it - the Unions got it done, they also got minimum wages, overtime, working hour laws - - the unions have done many things, but now those things are all codified into law - the Unions job is done - - these days the unions are not really needed - these days they suck up money making their leaders rich and this pushes up costs and helps push manufacturing overseas where labor costs are lower - - so much lower that even with all of the shipping its still cheaper - - unions are helping to make U.S. labor un affordable
