But the key question is how long will the beer stay cold in there during a summer ride?
It does look great though

Well had to go for a ride although the weather was not so great. I change oil every 5,000 miles. Turned 90,000 today so changed the oil and greased the u-joint.

Well they arrived quickly (although they were treated rather poorly by Fedex in transit).
Installation when fairly well. I had to chase a few nuts with a tap to get the screws in. I am happy with the fit, and utility, but now I need to refinish them.
Now we can carry more stuff with us when we travel.
Nice! Very interested in an update after you have had them for a while!

And pictures from different angles and closed too...
Very nice indeed!
My 2 cents, but definitely better than adding speakers there...
We are all about storage and I have looked at these. I am seriously looking at a set of bags from Viking to replace my barrel bags when we tour. Still on the hunt for a set of Corbin As well. It never stops 😎

... and I have my eyes on these to compliment the selection of previous purchases.
I like the idea of adding storage to replace the fenders, but those cost way too much for my budget.

Be patient…. Register on their site and sit back. Within days you will start getting 20% off emails 🙂
I saw those, If you purchase please post a picture. I like the idea of the expandability when needed.

Will do. I wish the entire unit was the leather-like instead of fabric that is my only hesitation however I think they will sit nicely up against the rollbars, large enough to give me extra space but not so big that they’re all over the place.
We shall see…

Can u close and send pic

I have a pair of the 12x14x 24 inch long that is something like this. I think that I gave $59-69 each at bike week Myrtle Beach
Well I’ll never purchase out of state and never see it in person again 😢
Hahahahahahahaha just kidding

You got a great deal. That's about half price!
So I had been running the Innovate PSB-1 boost/AFR combo gauge. Thing wasn't cheap and I'm not using the boost cut-off function it was more just to monitor things and log things with the laptop. Well I'm pretty sure that last big funeral parade we did and got caught in a huge down pour, killed that gauge. Going to send in for warranty (bought on 9/16 and has 1yr) and see, but if water damage I doubt they cover. So started that replacement project today and ran into a snag... The auto-meter marine boost gauge I got didn't come with the adapter for back of gauge to connect the boost hose. Why? as you need that to use the gauge... I'll be danged if I can find any at the local auto-parts stores so have to wait for Amazon to get me one. This being just a boost gauge and mechanical it should handle the rain a bit better and means I won't have a hole in my gauge holder for Galveston.
Since I have some of the dash pulled apart, going to also try to figure out that HomeLink garage opener. I have to wait on that 1/8npt female adapter anyway... Always something....
Koso North America offers 2 waterproof boost gauges for mtorcycles/snowmobiles.

Got the HomeLink working last night. Said it was for SLR, but cut the harness and added 12v and it works fine on a SL! Tested it before I put the ride command back in, vid below. Amazon got my 1/8npt female to 1/8 barb connector for the gauge to me a day early so got that wrapped up. Will take for a spin tomorrow and test it out but should be more durable being marine and mostly mechanical (has 12v light for nighttime). Also got the old gauge off to Innovate warranty claims to see what they say. Block party with sling friends tomorrow, should be fun! A safe holiday weekend to all!

Drove 500km through the mountains. The extra storage was needed as the weather was both hot and very cold and changed quickly. Having some extra warm clothes really came in useful.
I like the baggage carriers, but agree that they are $$$.
