Looks like my bigtex but bigtex is not low enough to get it on. Need longer ramp.
What was today's Sling project-Mods , goodies....?

I use e-track countersunk in the floor of my trailer and then strap over the top of the tires. If I were to do it again, I would use these UTV wheel chocks and straps.

Picked up the trailer today. Was supposed to be 2k when I got the quote 8 weeks or so back now, but agreed to 2500 before they started as material costs did go up from what I could tell doing my own research. Bottom line, I'm happy. Too cold to see how the sling fits but with the dovetail and ramp, should be good. He's built 3 other sling trailers so had a good idea of what I was after. The Brush guard is nice and will keep crap off the sling hopefully. I really like the hitch, super simple and way more secure than my other utv trailers. Electronic breaks worked good testing in the snow on the way home and couldn't get it to sway much doing fishtails but we'll see how it does with sling loaded.
I'm going to add some of those strap ratchet points once I get sling on there and see where everything ends up. Tiedowns in corners, but will feel better bout tire straps and then around frame to those tiedowns as a safety thing. My thoughts - suggestions or ideas on how to secure greatly appreciated!
Nice looking trailer. I really like the dovetail. It should make loading your Slingshot easy.

I ordered some of the etrack - planned to use that on front tires and then I like the axle strap on rear tire idea. Just wonder driving over those, course it would make it super consistent to know tire in same spot!

Be careful, that thing looks like it would be a skating rink for you and your Sling in those weather conditions... 🥶

That wouldn't have been enough snow in NW Iowa to keep me from riding my bicycle to school.

What kind of hitch is that? I've been looking at a trailer as well. Did you get a quote on how much a double acel would cost?

MacCaws is probably right, no idea Just had to have him explain it to me and he said once I used I'd never go back to other style. Sorry, no quote on double

This is what it looks like? They were right you will never go back to a conventional coupler

I'll share a tip with everyone. For all of my under body glow, I didn't use strips, I preferred these, from Walmart, and love them. They're extremely durable, you can mount them to just about anything with self-tapping screws, and they light up the ground as good as any strip I've seen.

Hope this helps someone...
Awesome. Is it possible to do double tape and not screws? Not a big fan of using screws specially in the front with my lip.

I see no reason why 3M double sided tape wouldn't hold those pods where you want them unless you were trying to stick them on a textured surface. I used it for mounting the fuse block under the hood and it seems to hold very well.

Added a receptacle so I'm able to plug my battery tender in rather than get down on the floor and fish the wire out from behind the panel and plug it in. Waterproof, easy to get to and makes a clean install. I saw it on a buddy's motorcycle and asked where he got it. AmazonSmile: Tecmate OptiMATE Cable O-40, Weatherproof SAE socket, panel mount: Automotive

Why do you not just plug it in between the seats in the assessery plug

I like tinkering and it's a cleaner look. I have a camera plugged into that most of the time anyway.

I just plug mine in between the seats. Been doing that since 2015.
