thanks for the advice BKL, it came with three different sizes. Going for a longer test ride in the morning to see if I can live with it. If not I’ll take your advice and try the baffles.
picked up a 1320 exhaust, manifold and muffler off craigslist This morning, brand new! 2.5 hour install, everything fell right in place. holy heck it’s loud......👍
(yes the picture was taken during the install the towel is not part of The exhaust system.) disclaimer because you know someone’s gonna say something!
added a new flag to my collection today - - this just might be my favorite, and also there is no doubt it is the best quality - I think I will stick with this brand going forward.
You can't appreciate the way this feels until you pick one up, solid steel, weighs in at 1.65 lbs and has to be classified as a weapon! It feels heavier than that in your hand, I had to get out the food scales to double check his info.
I picked one up at the DDM tent during MV and was amazed at the feel. Talked Dave@DDMWorks into trying a powdercoat on it, he says that it's harder to powdercoat the stainless steel, but it came out beautifully!
This knob needs no adapter, fits directly on the short shifter.
I have a couple of other goodies to show, but will after I install them.
Thanks for the advice on the baffles guys, it doesn’t baffle me anymore!
Ended up going with the middle sized baffle, now it’s deep and throaty! Not just loud, saying look at me.
Also I blew one of the bungs out my bunghole! Lol. Didn’t realize there was a third bunghole on the muffler side. Luckily I was able to use the spare bung from the O2 sensor bunghole to fill the third bunghole that I forgot to tighten.
Anywho, guys have fun with this one! I said Deepthroat and bunghole....
well while checking out my vibration problem I replaced the gray wheel with the black one that wokka brought for me, thanks again, like the looks of the black better than the gray, now the hunt for more rear black wheels lol. and man my fender has taken a beating this past weekend lol. can't see it in the third picture but that exhaust was hitting the fender.
