So the outside water line connected to my stage 1DDM works turbo is too close to the frame, I am running the original 1320 header so do you think if I tried a different header it might pull it away from the frame a little bit? I have about an eighth of an inch clearance but I’m afraid with the torque of the engine it’s gonna smash that waterline against the frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated

How much clearance is needed?

Dave@DDMWorks "@" will get Dave's attention and he should be able to get you a good answer.

The crew at DDMWorks have been great to work with. I've had only minor additions to my Slingshot but they are always there to help.

Thought this thread was going to offer up a good deal on a turbo...
Who else was disappointed? 😆

Sorry maybe I should have reworded my post title. Ha ha

so what was Dave's solution to the clearance issue?

Well he has never had one with the waterline that close to the frame so they were several options, we came to the conclusion it’s probably something with my original 1320 header. I ended up just removing the turbo and taking a small air belt sander and just filing the frame down a little bit and my clearances is perfect now. DDM works took the time to help with the couple issues I was having even answering my call on a Sunday. 👍👍
