Off the wall question, actually, they are hanging on the wall, a set of low mileage take-off shocks off of a 2015. What I am curious about is what should be the time/life of these shocks while hanging in limbo?
Same here. Experience has taught me to hang onto the stock parts to put back on the bike if it is wrecked and I want to keep my aftermarket stuff. If they last forever in storage they still suck and I'll never use them.
If for some reason you need to 'rebuild' the aftermarket shocks, you need something to keep the Slingshot mobile... I had mine rebuilt a year ago and the dealer was glad I had a set so the Slingshot could be moved.

Thanks,

If they are the stock shocks that came with the Sling....5 Minutes after you first hung them....
