Sound as if you need to take it back to Clawson in Fresno and tell them to unscrew it!

one of the causes mentioned a while ago is the traction control or wheel sensor.....water in the plug, loose plug or faulty sensor.
is it throwing a code? -
If this is the problem on yours, feel free to call me your hero.
Check the multi-function lever (turn signal cruise control). See if the cruise control switch is in the one position. Even though the cruise control is not turned on, if the switch is powered on, there's a chance of the cruise control basically doing a "resume" feature and accelerate on its own. As strange as it sounds, make sure it's off. if so, ignore what i just said
Good luck and be safe

Have the Speed sensors checked. Mine came out of the shop after getting angle drive replaced and everything would shut down on hard right turns. Would immediately restart when vehicle straightened out. Mechanic had used too much locktite on the axle and a hard turn would move the axle about a thousandth of an inch and block the speed sensor. Since everything is controlled by the computer it would determine there was an issue with the vehicle and shut it down for safety. Luckily the poor mechanic had left the company after he worked on mine and the really good mechanic had come back.

As Funinthesun and dangerdarrell stated....
If you are not using cruise control, turn it off!
Otherwise, suspect speed sensor interference, rear wheel.

Never had that problem on my 2015 SL and I never turn off the cruise control

Gerald, I've ridden behind you so i KNOW you've had a LOT of sudden acceleration events. I guess in your case it was easily traced to the heavy right foot syndrome.
