i also recieved an award that im super proud of. It is for supporting the Slingshot community with the forum Slingshotinfo.com. (So congratulations guys and gals yall are really the backbone behind this award. )

It was great to meet you in person. It was great to finally see the Panda, finally!!! I hope it was okay with you I kept plugging slingshotinfo as I was making announcements on Saturday and Sunday. Congrats on the award, Well deserved.

On behalf of THE SLING EXPERIENCE team, we’d like to thank each and every person who came out to help make this one of the most amazing Slingshot events ever! Although the odds were stacked highly against us with the pandemic and sketchy weather reports, the event was truly a memorable experience for all who attended. Although we had well over 300 Slingshots at the event over the weekend, we know that hundreds more of you wanted to attend but couldn’t… but we know you were there in spirit. We will catch you all at the next one!

We had several media teams helping to cover the event, and we can’t wait to see all the videos! Thanks to GBI Ink for our printing, thanks to Melanie and Gabby for the administrative help, and thanks to Sam Baxter and Jim Economy for helping to prepare and tidy up our event space, and Doug and others who helped us pack up afterwards.
There were so many great memories over the weekend, it’s so hard to share them all! Did you see the time that Mark stood up while driving when he was leading the ride to Galveston, and the sparks Storm was making while going over the Surfside bridge? Did you see the massive fire that came out of the back of Kris’ Slingshot under a freeway underpass, and that other dude with the flamethrower? How about how we took over every single lane as we rode down I-10 and then did it again when riding down Westhiemer the next day? How about the amazing police escorted ride that had everyone doing a "spirited ride" on the way to Mancuso Gulf Freeway, and the amazing fajitas they had when we got there? What about Andy Woods standing up while doing donuts, then actually jumping out of his Slingshot while it was spinning, and jumping back in?!! What about the Slingshot mayhem that ensued when Dave and Rab went head-to-head and destroyed their tires (and who knows what else) all in the name of a great show and raising money? Did you see the video of a guy leaning out of a truck window, and detailing Marks Slingshot aka QuickSilverSS, while doing 60 on the freeway?? How about all the smoke grenades and confetti bombs, and drones in Memorial Park? What about The Mechanics giving a live performance at the Kickoff Party, and the Slingshots lighting up the scene in the lighting competition? This amazing screen grab from Strada Media drone. How about those close photo finishes in the super-exciting Slingshot Push Races? Did anyone happen to see Storm accidentally spin out in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in the city, and ended up facing the wrong way? Whose Slingshot tried to take out one of the trees in our parking lot? (Thank goodness no one was hurt!) Can anyone keep up with Storm, Danna and John Henry in the twisties? How about the late night BBQ in the parking lot, and the Bombshells after parties? And the thousands of dollars in raffle prizes we gave away at the end of the event, including the bidding war for the Wind Restrictor prize and the proceeds going to charity? So many memories, so many experiences…. What was your favorite memory? THE SLING EXPERIENCE was off the charts, and we will only get better! Until next time!

I did go drive it a little bit before the burnout/doughnut and it was very unstable at just 30mph, fun for burnouts but not something good for driving. That tire took a lot of abuse thought, pretty impressed with it.
So, did Dave pop a hose or radiator?
Neither. I just put the turbo on the Slingshot on Wednesday the day before we left and after the drive out there the first night the coolant system burped and so I added a bunch to make sure there was plenty in the tank. During the burnout the temp got really hot and coolant came out the overflow, engine and cooling system is fine 
oh good, just didn't look too good in the video with water everywhere. Glad the sling is good.
Was fun hanging out at the event, looking forward to MV.

It looks like any of us who have the FASTER RED slingshots with the 20" rear tire are S.O.L as these sizes end at the 18" ones. It sucks having a ride that's able to melt one of these tires, but not have them made in the size needed. I'm not going to DOWNSIZE to the SLOWER Grey 18" ones

Love that opening shot! And notice rabtech & Dave@DDMWorks got in there a couple times. Looking forward to the full video. I expected the "Flame Thrower" to be in there somewhere.
