Me too, but I'm a day later! I'm not online like I once was. Evenings tend to get taken up with G'kid's sports, and during the day I'm busy at my new (2 plus months ago) position as Machine Shop Manager. I will still do some of the Tooling Design, but it's been slow and this is where I'm needed (hey, it came with a small raise, doing what I can to get to retirement!).

I thank you all for the birthday wishes! I crossed over into the 60 year old decade.... how did that happen? As SlingLow mentioned, it was a tough one for me. Nah, I don't care about the age, never have. Only a number of times I've been around the sun and I'm thankful to still be on that ride! However, I lost my best friend of 41 years, only hours before my birthday to cancer. I will be giving his eulogy soon, please keep me in your prayers, or good thoughts. Date hasn't been set as of yet as it will be a celebration of life (no funeral, he wanted cremation).

As for the supercharger, I'm missing riding, and that power! I have a sticky tire for it, another one, and a spare one... this summer will be so much fun! Thanks again Brody! Hope all is well with you and yours!

Wow, hold the good times with your friend. Life is short but memories hold. Keep them close.

My younger years were filled with dial indicators, micrometers, depth gauges, concentricity fixtures, ball gauges etc. Jet engine teardown and rebuild. It's a skill and a feel. I remember using ball gauges, closing my eyes and feeling for defects. If you can find a defect consistently with your eyes closed its a skill. It is a feel and talent that may be fading in todays era. Sounds like a retirement is much deserved and just around the corner! Just a few more birthdays!
