I have never been big on car audio but I have always been into home audio. I have had Surround Sound (Home Theater) for about 45 years. My playroom has had the best system for many years now. 12 and 15 inch front and rears the 12's have been playing pretty much 24 hours a day since the 1980's with the 15 inch woofer and the center stage. I just had to replace the tuner/amp in the house (lighting) I finally installed the Denon 540 that I bought over a year ago so I would not have to listen to the hum anymore from the old amp. The system in the house has the 10 inch 4 speaker tower fronts and what I call the small wall hangers for the rears. The 10 inch woofer I had to replace the speaker and of course one of the good center stage speakers. This new systems auto tunes the speakers with a mic from your seating position, I always had to do the tuning by ear, I never had an amp to do that before but I can tell you the house system really rocks now, almost as good as the play room does.
