Thank you for the info, now trying to get my dealer to order me one.. they have kept my sling over night countless times to use locktight on it for it to just back out again
I recently had the double nut procedure done but as @Canoehead told me "don't let them scratch your nuts" My nuts look awful. It just looks so painful I think I will have to paint my nuts. Maybe I will get my wife to use her nail polish.

I'm surprised your dealer hasn't already switched you to the two nut solution as it was reported on the other site that the two-nut solution should be used if the customer has reported having to retighten the single nut. Unfortunately, their Search feature didn't let me find anything.
This does seem to stay tight. When I had mine in for the headlight harness I had them put on but cost me $30. Those MF's are sorry(Polaris)! Helped Denver Bill put a grease zerk in Sunday. The nut was a bit loose and he was just starting to get noise. Installed new pulley bearing and made the nut into castle nut. Green loctite on it, hopefully it will be good. At least it can be greased now.
Got my original nut still on. When i found out was a problem unloosened put loc tight on it and impact gunned it down. I put I mark on nut and threads to look for movement at a glance but alls good. That was a year ago.
