Do you use your SlingShot more having a trailer?

I've had the tow dolly for a couple years and used it to take our Sling to the Slingshots Uncorked and Mayhem in the Mountains events. Worked flawlessly. Mine has 14" wheels and no fenders. I did have the trailer tire rub the side of my Sling one time, even with the chains adjusted properly. It happened due to a combination of a rather tight turn onto a pretty steep off-angled apron entrance from the road. I was actually expecting the rub to have been worse, but the chains must have done the best they could in the situation. Under normal conditions, I've had zero issues. We love our dolly and no complaints!!!

I am not understanding what chains you folks are talking about? Are these the chains used to keep the trailer with the vehicle if it becomes disconnected?

Don from Indianapolis designed the first one and built a lot of them in his garage ... Keven uses his basic design. I've seen both in use and they work well. I don't trailer often (to Florida in the winter) --- my trailer is a 7 x 14 dual axle with a 6ft ramp. Business use as well as going south in the winter.

I would actually prefer a trailer but where to store it when not in use is a problem.

that’s why I opted for the Rear wheel carrier. Lesser of all the evils...

The good thing is I do have space on my property.

That's the problem I faced. My 5'x8' trailer fits in my garage, but a 14' trailer for the Slingshot would take up too much space. My HOA forbids storage of trailers if visible from the street, but the tow dolly is small enough I can keep it in the carport and park the Slingshot in front of it. It's been parked there for almost 2 years w/o complaint.
