Nothing personal, but I don't think the photoshopped pictures belong in the photo competition threads like this one. I know they are not intended to be entries, but even so they distract from the photos that are entries and could confuse people

EDIT: as a side note I think it is great work and I love seeing it - - just think it belongs in its own thread or in the galleries

Agreed. Also, please define “photoshopped”. I took my pictures in Savannah, GA this year and apart from minor lightning adjustments (as with all decent photography)there is 0 photoshop on them.

I was referring to the pictures where the slingshot has been placed on a new background that is not where it was actually photographed - I have no problems with minor editing / correcting for the photos here and actually would expect it

Sorry folks, I read rule 3 to mean no photo editing unless it is stated as a category. I stated in each of my posted photos that they are creations.
I will discontinue posting photo edited photos. I understand.

You read the rule correctly I believe and I know you are just having fun and I think you made that clear - I just am not sure everyone looking will take the time to read everything and fully understand that your pictures are not a part of the challenge.
Also as a person who loves photography and the art of photoshop I really appreciate your work. your background removal is very clean and your attention to keeping the lighting correct for both the slingshot and its new background is impressive - As I have mentioned before you really should join dpreview.com and share your work in the retouching forums.
anyway I look forward to seeing much more of your photo work in the future

Thanks for the kind words, I will stick to my photo gallery to display my fun time. I did join the website you suggested and have posted my work. Thanks for that.

From a artistic photography stand point this may not be the prettiest picture but it is my favorite from this year. It was taken at the Indy Airstrip Attack that rabtech and I attended. Aside from the blistering heat......and rain, it was a great weekend. We (Rab, Ghost and his wife, and larry) all stayed at the same hotel, we were close to each other in the pits each day, we were helping each other out, and shared some meals, some stories, and a lot of laughs. It was a great weekend with great people. This is my entry.
I will have to say that it was a blast. We just need to get out more in 2020 if time and money will let us and see if we can kill some tires.
You know what would have made this picture even better is if you had line locks on your front like mine and we had the noses touching and the tires smoking.
Get you some line locks installed....
