Ok I have a DDM turbo and its been on for about 10k miles> When I first start it up no smoke till after it warms up and then it smokes like crazy for about five minutes and then it goes away. Checked all the plugs and they look good. Checked the charge tubes from the turbo and they are clean. The oil is about a quart low after about 4k miles. Did a compression test and I'm showing 180 in all 4 cylinders. Any ideas on what the problem is?

It sounds like a turbo seal letting oil pool into the hot side of the turbo after you turn it off...
Then when you start it the exhaust is to cold to burn it.. as soon as it warms the exhaust up it burns that pooled oil out of the exhaust. Then once it burns all that oil out it clears up.
Does it smoke every time you start it. Or only after it sits and gets cold.

Only after it has set for a while.
