Just about anyone will mount your rear tire, it is nothing special

I just go to the closest local tire shop - - they had no problem, the first time I called them they only asked what size tire it was and then said bring it on over
I can't see any reason why any local shop would not do it - its a standard automobile tire and wheel

Well I don't think anyone will Mount the tire because my local VIP refused to do it. Said they had too many problems with slingshots. I didn't even ask what the problems were I just left .

You did the right thing leaving - that lot obviously didn't want your business.
I went to a Discount Tire shop (national chain), they ordered the tire I wanted and then installed it in about 30 minutes.
Trouble free.

Who says you have to tell them it is a Slingshot tire and wheel. Take them the old rims and tires, oh! but you only have 3 tires and wheels. I had a flat a few weeks back and have already mounted the other. PROBLEM SOLVED

I have a place called Sullivan Tire that changed my slingshots tires before but they could not get me in for a week . So that's why I was going around the other places to see if they would change them. I guess I'll just have to plan a couple weeks ahead for the next hour change

Must be some busy places up there? We drive up and an hour later or less we are gone. Small town USA.

Wanting to make sure I got the best possible balance on my rear tire, I called around to see who had a Hunter Road Force balancer and used them. Heres how they work: https://www.hunter.com/wheel-balancers

these are regular car wheels ....96% of the slingshot is car parts.....except for the polaris proprietary parts.
Technically a motorcycle mechanic is lost when they do a safety inspection of a slingshot.

Discount Tire … early on they were proactive inviting Slingshot to the locations. For the Nitto 555 I run they have done a good job and fair price. They can probably mount even if you don't buy....

Hey Brucee, give Carl a call at Tire Kingdom 386-523-2000 and tell him Phil (the guy with the red turbocharged slingshot that took him for a test ride) sent you to see him. He'll treat you right.

discount tire just put mine on for $14.95. They are great people!

They have sold me many many “sets” that’s why I come back!

I just Googled Tire sealers near Daytona, FL and saw there were several Discount Tire shops. Discount Tire was one of the first tire chains willing to work on the Slingshot and I've had good results with them. You can also order tires online from DiscountTireDirect and have Discount Tire install them. I've also had success with NTB mounting tires on my Slingshot. I tried a local Pep Boys once and felt the tech damaged my tire trying to get it mounted before just giving up. The store manager denied responsibility, but corporate had them replace the tire. Chances are, you'll be OK at any of the national tire chains.

Take your rim and tire to a Walmart near you and get it done for 9.95, Costco will do it for 14.95 and include road hazard warranty.

I would never take my tires and rims to Walmart. They damaged my 95 Mustang GTs rims chipped them all to hell.

Thanks Phil they were on my list to check out -- I'll go with them -- thanks for everybody's comments and suggestions.
