A HUGE THANKS TO TIM and SHIRL ... And some info on the best getting new parts

I hope Dave likes these. I took his logos and made some stickers.
These are just some I tossed together and colored in. What do yall think? Post below if I'm on the right track and if yall think they look good. I am.going to print some next on matte material and contour cut the whole sticker our so it's just the colored part that is the sticker.
this is one I want to print next. I think it looks great. I like both of them actually.
-
I could use some of those in silver!
-
Lookin good

The pictures are great! Not the headache pertaining to them. It is a great narrative on the damage from the results of the failure.
The painted engine looks Awesome and so do the stickers! Good luck with the new parts and repair Papa Bear.
-
looking good Rab, been after Dave to get me a powered by DDM for my hood and the guy is just so busy
-
wokka he doesnt have that hood logo. The lady that does his stickers locally has that from what I'm told. If he had it I could get it and cut you a set.
However I'm about to cut sticker above and stretch lengthways a tiny amount. The I'm die cutting it so that there is no white showing. I have the gloss material loaded and if it looks good with gloss I'm going to load the matte finish material and print and cut that set.
You may want these stickers when I get them printed.
-
Yeah, yours looks awesome, will the yellow show up ok against white in bright sun light?
If you can make them big enough for the hood, I'll buy a set
-
I am going to add a smidge more red to the yellow so it has a tiny amount of contrast.

Wow that looks sweet!
Kind of like the inside of a double stuff Oreo!
I hope you did a good job sealing everything up an oil leak would just suck.
Now stuff that puppy back in the beast and lay down some rubber!

No, It turned a bit rainy for me....
I am still putting the Sling back together also. I am painting some of the black frame up front where it was pretty scratched up.
I did find a paint that I can recommend for almost instant drying and has a lot of pigment in it. It is the VHT Roll Bar & Chassis paint. It is super black and if you have a spot that needs some touching up on the front frame parts you can just spray it quickly and it blends in with the factory paint.

That stuff is amazing. That's what I painted my roll bar with.

Put narrower tires up front for less drag. Works for dragsters.

way ahead of ya.

Several problems with narrow tires. But the main problem is you have no tire to stop with. And secondly these tires are nylon and they are not used to having weight on them at speed. So 1 mile would be sketchy
-
another issue is the cost. I borrowed those wheels and tires. They are a little over 1000.00 EACH SIDE
