I am curious who the "safe" drivers are using for insurance. (no tickets or accidents)
Looking to get the best price I can.
Thanks!

State Farm. Not always the very cheapest, but always reliable and they don't drop you after they pay a claim.
Been my insurance company for 40+ years & I'm still satisfied.
I went with Allstate, but not so much because it was allstate but because the agent was the first one I talked to who actually knew what a Slingshot was and also knew it didnt require a special motorcycle license - most of the people I talked to before him only knew to plug the vin in their system and then asked if I had the special motorcycle license - and when I said no the rates jumped up
So my suggestion would be to call around until you find someone who knows what the slingshot is and who has insured them before
I would give you my agents info, but he only does California
You will get some ridiculous quotes from some companies....$1500-2000 range. The motor size 2384 cc puts it in a high performance bike category.
I’m using them. I’m in PA. Right around $500 ....Don’t forget just like the credit score scam for a loan...your insurance is also based on that, your age, driving record, marital status, zip code, underwear color and other ridiculous stuff.
Geico.
This is my yearly policy with state farm, I haven't found any company that can even come close(Yes I did call Dan), I normally shop around every january.
Clean record, 826 credit score, 890 Insurance score(new thing apparently) and 36 Years old, "not married"
I have State Farm. I had the first one insured by them in NW AR. They new nothing about Slingshots then and engine size NEVER came up. Size didn’t matter.

when I went to insure mine as soon as they entered the vin and it came up as a "motorcycle" one of the first questions was "how many cc's is it" - - and I was told that because it was so large it was classified as a "super bike" which increased the insurance cost then they asked if I had the motorcycle class license - which I said no and that pushed it up even higher - - In CA the class M is specifically a 2 wheel endorsement - not required for 3 wheels or even recommended, but it didnt matter - these agents only saw "motorcycle" on their computer and that was all they knew - because of this the first quotes I got were ridiculously high, but when you consider that from their perspective I was an unlicensed person who wanted to insure myself on a "super bike" what do you expect
like I said above if the agent doesnt know what a slingshot is my advice is to hang up and find a different agent one who knows exactly what the rules are and what does and does not apply to our special three wheeled machines
I'll call state farm. Thank you
State State farm just blew Geico out of the water. $200 a year with State farm for full coverage versus $1,000 a year with Geico
I owe you all!!
I owe you all!!
Not the way it works here.

make sure it includes full coverage and it’s not just for 6 months
I owe you all!!
I'll have a cup of coffee.....
Some people know how to park to get lower insurance rates
I’m with Farm Bureau of TN. About $300/yr.

He did say a year.... but then the card he emailed me is only good for 2 months. Waiting to hear back today about that.

Depends on so many things. But another State Farm here.... I have coverage like Neosolidus above (with credit score the same and driving record) with the exception of $500 deductibles and mine is just under $300 for the year.
Rick Roth
Check with Dan in Texas...he can do insurance in many states and several companies
