Assistance needed in Ellenton FL

Does it make any sound at all when pushing the button to start? Does it try to turn over?

Do the needles on the tach and speedo sweep all the way to the right then back to zero when the ignition is turned on?

Back by the battery there is a 40 amp fuse for the engine circuit

Hopefully someone can ride over and meet this new member and try to help him. Possibly see something he is missing by means of a switch or something.

Just a thought. Could he have installed the gaurd dawg ignition bypass? I dont have it but is this a possibility?

The digital guard dog could be the answer. Is there a fob with the key? I'm not home at the moment see if my start button lights when the key is turned with it installed.

If he has the guard dog, there will be another toggle switch somewhere and the red light shouldn't come on without the fob. However, I do not have my key connected with my guard dog.

Correct but if the fob is with the key it could light the start button when the key is turned even though the key is inactivated. If there is a fob, turn the switches on until you find one that activates the gauges then it will start. I put mine on the steering column right in front of the keyhole. Most people use one of the existing switch locations below the stereo.

Yeah, but on mine, the ignition switch doesn't turn red until I flip my kill switch. Does yours act differently with the key?

I haven't tried it and I'm at the coast in my camper this weekend. Mine should be the same as yours I would think.
