I broke a clip and it's rattling around...so I need to pull this panel circled below. I know there are 2 screws underneath but it still seems like there is something is still holding it in place towards back top. Are there clips? Just doesn't seem to pull off the rest of the body.
A little help with a panel to remove?

Awesome...that makes more sense. Looks like I have to find a way to pop those...wonder if I have to remove the flat rear section with the "shark fin" to get to it.

Ok, found the solution. I had to take the lower roll bar covers off, the black trim then loosen the top rear painted cover. I could then pop the top cover up enough to remove the screws to the side panels.

I always just yank the sides and entire rear deck lid off together. It's like 6 extra bolts I think, less F**king around, and I'm kind of lazy, so there's that.

I was looking at it last night...and I am still not sure how pulling the rear deck would help since the side panel overlaps the rear deck. I think Brute Force might be the answer...buuuut...

If you have a Top that mounts to the roll hoops, then removing the rear deck also requires removing the Top so you can get the rear deck completely removed.

remove the roll hoops and the back deck. The side panels are stuck to the back deck with double sided tape and 2 screws on each side.

Yes it would but with how they are attached to the back deck with tape and bolts like Rabtech said. To me it was easier to remove the roll hoops and pull the whole assembly. I would rather remove large bolts that I know will not strip and go back in without cross threading. The torx bits on the Sling are so terrible I remove them as little as possible.

Mine are in the cubbies with rear panels screened for hot air release.
