DO NOT USE ANYTHING METAL TO CLEAN GLUE OFF. I had the small adjustable mirrors on mine and decided to remove them. I used GOOP and a razor blade and scratched the hell out of them. So now I will be looking for new mirrors.

I highly recommend the convex mirrors that slingmods and slingshotonly sell they cover the stock mirrors completely so it won't matter that you scratched them
before I got the convex mirrors I had those little round stick on blind spot mirrors and the convex mirrors are a thousand times better

I also use the extension that puts the mirror out about an inch... that will also add to what you can see behind and how close.

For those of you with a MeanSling top The mirror extensions from MeanSling are simple, but, as you would expect from Patrick, they work perfectly with the front mounts for the Sport Top or QuickShade - instead of having the mirror mounted on top on the mounts for the top it keeps the mirror off to the side and independent - I know there are other mirror extensions out there, but I am not sure how well they would work with the Sport Top / QuickShade mounts
Oh - and in case you were wondering the extensions are steel and are solid as a rock - no added mirror vibration whatsoever

I received my mirrors from SlingMods in the mail today and will probably install a little bit later today

just a note - when I got the convex mirrors it was at the Fallbrook event and since I was having some other things done at the same time I went ahead and had them installed - - the one thing that they did that I like is that they sealed the gap along the top of the mirror with black silicone. it probably isnt necessary, but I like it
-
Installed mine today as well. Night and Day difference. Like others have said, should have came like this from the factory.

I have just installed the mirrors from Sling Mods and I wish I had done this 88,000 miles ago. To those that do not have these mirrors my advise is to get them installed, they are that good. Thanks Edward Neal for the reminder

I installed mine a few months ago, great purchase.
One problem I'm having, especially with the drivers side, is that it moves too easy and goes out of position. I don't think it's the convex stick-on that is causing it, unless it's the extra weight of it, but it's just loose in the frame.
Someone had mentioned putting a bit of gas line split on the end, but it's not quite thick enough to make good contact and I still get the mirror moving occasionally.
Anyone have thoughts on how to tighten up the adjustment of the mirror in the frame?

The vents were in the mail today, Summer Breeze and I will install in the morning. Payback

FWIW: The 2019's come standard with convex (wide angle) mirrors on both sides.

That's Nice
