This pilot is 42 years old and just learned how to fly 10 years ago. Supposedly he graduated top of the class..... regardless according to reports the plane never got above 750 feet.....where I grew up we have a smoke stack 750 high....with a fully loaded plane, 234 people and 16 tons of fuel...and one partially functioning engine ....it is a miracle with nobody getting killed and the plane never caught fire. That fully grown corn field was an excellent landing spot.....way better than solid bare ground.
He left the wheels up and turned off both engines and glided it in..... AMAZING JOB.
