Thats a lot of money and work on that machine. Beautiful
Spirit is now up for sale!

We have watched that great machine go from a beautiful blue Slingshot thru a long range of custom changes....each change more exciting than the one before. Maybe Trent could post a set of pictures showing the changes. Slingrazor

Can I go out on a limb and say our own Jim Camp is being sneaky and it was you all along?

Good try Funinthesun but no. I was very tempted. But I am sure it has a very nice home.

Well this is story that is a bit more involved than you think.
The Spirit is actually a culmination of both of our slings.
What a ride this has been so far!
In the beginning we purchased a 2015 Base model that we brought home February of 2015. That base model took us all over the U.S. the first year. Felicia drove the sling and I on my Victory.
After the owning the base model for 8 months, we asked a man named Painter if he could paint the sling to match the Victory Board Walk Blue. This was his 6th creation.
We soon had Painter put his magic on the Vic which Felicia chased me around on.
At MV we were introduced to Dave@DDMWorks , the performance bug started.
Problem!! With the new SC ,I started driving it all the time. Felicia soon asked if she would be able to drive her Sling. So the Vic was gone.
Now the sling was mine and I could let my own creativity come to life. With some vision and what the heck attitude I started cutting and painting.
The next major change came when Felicia thought about selling her sling. At that point we decided to keep the 2016.5 and the best of everything from the 2015. So over the winter I stripped both slings down to their frames, did a lot of painting, and put them together. Felicia liked what she saw and decided to keep the 2015 for herself.
The next major mod was once again Horse Power. The sling visited Dave again for a set of cams and re-tune. 350 HP at the rear wheel.
We rode them like this for the next year until our vision of our two favorite rides came together. A 1966 Shelby and our Slingshot. This paint job kicked the crap out of Jim and I. (Thank you Painter , Ross , SlingRider , and maverick5990 for helping to make this happen) It took 8 days and between 16 and 18 hours a day. A normal Slingshot paint job is about 21 to 23 pieces, we stopped counting at 80!!!
Spirit was born!
I do have a vision for the next one which will be completely different. You will have to wait and see!

Yep, I didn't buy into you bought it...
But, you are on the right path.
By process of elimination, we can narrow it down.
I didn't buy it!
This is gonna take a while!

I am not saying until they post the rest of the story

WingShot , you might have to change your name to something like “ Skeletor” or something like that. Still cool looking ride.
Ive been WingShot to long to change, but its still the Alpha Monster.
