Has anyone installed these rotors on their sling? I like that they are competitively priced and more affordable than what is offered by DDM. They can be found even cheaper brand new on ebay for about $260 for the 3 of them.

These are solid rotors so basically a fashion accessory ..... others are two piece rotors with aluminum hats so drop a considerable amount of unsprung and rotating weight ... the price difference is well worth the performance benefit ....

I put these on my sling, but to be honest, I didn't see a huge improvement in braking, very slight increase, even with the hawk 5.0 pads.
I've since upgraded to big brakes. Details on the install : Brakes

I saw your install thread. I honestly really like how they look. I despise the OEM rotor and calipers. I already placed an order on MGP Caliper covers yesterday and my next move is to replace the rotors. Honestly as long as they look better than stock ( which they do) i dont mind that they are mostly for looks rather than functional.

Most people do not even need the big brake kit, all that is needed is the 5'0 pads. I just checked the 5'0 pads on mine and there is a lot of pad left on them babies.

I'll have mine for sale in a couple of weeks, they have about 2500 miles or so on them.

i ordered the Hawk Ceramics about 2 months ago directly from DDM. Not sure if these are the 5.0 but they seem to work fine. I honestly did not notice a big change in braking. Brakes still smushy.
-
If they are mushy, you may need to get the brakes bled, dealer has to do it due to the ABS.
The Hawk Ceramic and 5.0 are different pads, the Ceramic are a bit cleaner, don't cause as much brake dust, the 5.0 are more aggressive, causing more dust.
I'll ping you once I have the rotors available if you want them, otherwise they will go up for sale on the marketplace.

No, they are not the 5.0 pads and also not as good as stopping you either as the 5.0 pads. Also do what wokka says, you really need to bleed the brake system and add the DDM master cylinder brace

That is because you apply your brakes maybe 4 times every 120 miles. At least that was all I counted in Maggie.

Earliest I can do it is around mid to late august, but let's plan it in a couple of weeks.
-
Say when. Busy this month and into mid-August, the Ozarks in mid-Sept. But I could definitely come down for a weekend sometime (and I'll have a place to stay in SA starting Aug 1).

Heck, look at the list of stuff I've already done. EVERY day is Wrench Day for me so far.
