New Side Gap Fillers, With or without Lambo Doors

Hey kev , I like those doors. Kyle D , Dave@DDMWorks , or rabtech , do you think these would help with airflow for high speed runs?

It's hard for me to say. Just going off what I experienced removing things and taping things off at the 1/2mi rabtech and I were at last year I would think probably not. Regardless of what we removed or taped off, both of our speeds remained consistent. And the air right there is going to be fairly turbulent I would imagine with the wheel right there. But Dave@DDMWorks would probably have more knowledge on that with the wind tunnel testing he did.

It would depend a lot on what other modifications were made at the same time as to whether these would have any benefit. On Kyle D or rabtech Slingshots, I don't see them making much of a difference in overall coefficient of drag though. We did not test anything like this in the wind tunnel though, but have a general idea of what the air is doing there, so this is just an educated guess

Those look interesting. Any rattle from the connection/lock mechanism? Paintable?

I missed that link. I went to AllThingsSlingshot and selected Exterior, then Body Styling and then Doors and was linked to an empty page. kev had referred to them in his original post as doors, but I should have noticed the link for rear side gap filler on his website.

I now realize how confused I was. I thought the gap fillers were the doors since the pics seemed to emphasize the doors in the gap filler listing. Darn, that $259 price seemed too good for the doors!

The doors were on his site the other day, he must have pulled them for retooling
