Congratulations to Kyle D with ZZPerformance. He has just toppled my 1/2 mile top speed with a record setting run of 147mph. He is running at the Battle Creek Michigan event today.
I really hope he breaks 150 today. I feel certain he will before the day is over. I will keep yall informed as I get info from him.
I cant even begin to explain just how hard it is to get everything to work in perfect unison to achieve these speeds. Tire spin, perfect gear changes and perfect power per gear.... It looks like it should be so easy to hit these speeds. But when your sitting there staring at the end of a mile long runway it becomes clear that it's not going to be a piece of cake.

P.S. I went ahead and just registered for the 1/2 mile event in Marion IN for both days in August. I guess I'll have to dial up the boost and see what I can do. Maybe the white beast has a few more pounds of boost to spare.
