For those that have installed a clear bra on their vehicles, what are the pros and cons?
Thanks,

There is one definite pro to a clear bra but in the interest of proper decorum, I won't post a pic here.
I haven't heard or seen of anyone doing this on a Sling. It's quite popular with the 'Vette crowd. I'll be watching for responses...
I would also like to see and hear some feedback on this. I've considered but have not looked into prices or the pro's and cons.
Googling clear bra does find lots of very interesting results
I did find this though : https://www.autotrimdesign.net…_Paint_Protection_Kit.asp
and this : http://www.joeysillusion.com/ventureshield.htm
Joey is in the DFW area here in Texas, stand up guy and has a sweet 4 seater conversion. I do not know how well that product is, but if you are interested, I'd give him a call.
I like my women like my SS, Braless
I know... I know.... it's not clear.....
But I have so many of these kits made up now that I have to at least ask....How about this for the front. I happen have 14 of these kits ready to ship.
Not sure where on the front of the Sling I would put this:
Doh! Not a good google search while at work! (HR just called - they want to see me . . . . )

Now 13.

Luckily, the office is officially "closed" this week - I'm the only one here (taking my "shutdown" in Sept). But yeah, definitely a NSFW search.

Tip: Just explain that you meant to put 3M in front.
Pro Tip: This tip does NOT work on midget porn...

Passenger seat!?

Bill,
Clear bra is a great way to protect your Slingshot from rock chips, scratches, bug guts, bird droppings, and much more. Check out the video below by YouTuber Engineering Explained (2.2 million subscribers) on Paint Protection Film.
Engineering Explained - Scratching & Healing My Own Car
Be sure to pick a film that has a good warranty, is self-healing, easy to clean, and non-yellowing, as not all films are created equal.
Additionally, one of the absolute most important steps with clear bra is finding a reputable installer. We would suggest finding 2-3 near you and ask to see examples of their work firsthand. This will let you gauge their workmanship and customer support quality.
XPEL welcome to the forum and thanks for your thorough explanation. Since it appears you have some specific knowledge, would you know what the expected cost range would be for a quality job on the Slingshot nose?
Thank you for the warm welcome. We're happy to provide some insight.
As the front end of the Slingshot is a unique shape, it's a bit more difficult to provide an accurate quote. For example, if we're talking about the front end of a regular shaped vehicle where we're protecting the entire hood, entire front fenders, front bumper, side mirrors, and headlights, it would be between $1795 and $2295. Seeing as the Slingshot isn't as much surface area you could probably get the front area protected for $1495 - $1795 or so.
