This was a wonderful experience for the wife and I. We met some of the most wonderful people on this trip! Big Big thank you to 123hotdog and his lady for putting up with all of us and for the effort that went into this event. Thank you to Ghost for helping us get there and back safely and for introducing us to the sling community! Was a bit timid in coming knowing that my sling was mostly stock, but all of you guys made our sling feel right at home without all of the mods, and we thank you guys so much. Looking forward to next year!!

A bit of riding with FunCycle to end the event. A bit of icing on this cake of an event
Keeping him in your sights is always a challenge. Especially since the man has no idea what the brake pedal is used for. I am surprised he hasn't removed it to save weigh. But if you want to learn what your sling is can do there is no better teacher.
I did make it home around 5 pm. Total miles for the week 1,970.6 I will figure the gas mileage later, I have not done that in a couple of years
I just watched the Hodge video. I wanted him to lead at his own pace but he wanted to follow and I used the brakes a few times as a warning an I slowed down some. I wish he had got the second part on video but he thought it was over and cut it off. It looks like he was doing pretty good. The place where I really slowed down at the beginning was to put the water cup in the cup holder, I had forgot it again and almost lost it.

Dorene and I made it home about 4:30pm. No issues.
We wanted everyone to know that we had a fabulous time, and loved every minute we spent with all of you!!! We were super excited to meet up with some of our old friends and to have met so many new friends!!! We want to thank 123hotdog and his lovely bride for going above and beyond expectations with this event. It was SOoooo enjoyable!!!! It was also an honor to have met some of the legends like Painter , EjFord , ......the list just goes on and on, and we were thankful to have been a part of the event. We also want to thank Friendship Motorsports for their sponsorship of this event!! We went back on Sunday to cash in our gift card, and they instantly remembered us from the night before. They were actually worried that we would not get to use the gift card, and opened their doors late Saturday night to allow us to use it, but we had just left the party. Who else would have done that???? That meant so much to us!!! Kuddos to them, and we hope to be a part of next year's event!!! I might have a few pics to add to @Jdin's photo gallery, and also hope to add a short video of our run on the Snake. Designer lead the group, and we were behind them and Bubblehead . If I can get the video to upload.....it will speak for itself

Ripley having owned my Slingshot since Feb 2015 … mine is still mostly stock OEM … do have a F4 Customs 5+ tinted windshield and a hugger rear fender.....in the Slingshot world that's pretty naked but I do have lots of miles...that bring lots of smiles.
