I did a search on removing the tail fin light but I didn’t turn up anything. I need to remove the tail fin light to access something. If the backup camera is removed and the screw at the bottom of the tail fin light is removed does the light just come off? I know it’s held at the top by something but is that just a snap in, like the backup camera snap in? Thanks for any info.

Here is a short video of brake light modulator installation that may help you.

Here's the link to the rear deck removal that will allow you to get to that light: Rear Deck Video. It is pretty involved but easy to do. Lots of fasteners.

Just pop out the camera, remove the one screw at the bottom and lift out the light.

so I did this but the doesn't lift out. Something is holding at the top part. There is a black plastic piece that goes over the light where something is holding it. Do I need to remove the black plastic piece, or does that top part of the light snap into place?

Sorry TxTiger , Shatneyman is right. Been a while since I took the rear deck off. Forgot about that one. The way Polaris cut costs on everything I was surprised the light didn’t just have one screw and a tab on top.

Thanks, guys, that helps a lot.
