So, watching Netflix last night, we were watching the A-X-L movie (not very good, but that's not the point). There is a SlingShot in the movie in 2 scenes.
Of course it's owned by the douche of the movie, and the "hero" and the "girl" get in it and talk for a little.
So, post here when you see SS's in movies. Try to get a screen capture (I got this from the YouTube trailer);
I'm hoping for a Slingshot to appear in a James Bond movie. Hella better than an electric Aston Martin!

The electric Aston Martin is the current rumor on the web in Bond forums. (It will be grey, like the British weather.)

Nope, not at all. The 2 scenes were:
1) The one above. He walks out to the garage to find all these bikes/cars/SS and sits on the crotch rocket when she comes out.
2) They end up sitting in the SS (her in the drivers seat, him in the passenger seat - jeez) just talking. Ends up her mom is the maid/nanny and they live there with the rich douche boy. (Of course, there are never any parents around and the house looks like a Frat party all the time.)

Ok, I'll admit, that made me laugh. Well played...
Although technically speaking, it was a sling, not a slingshot. 
And of course, now Tiger King has a crazy Slingshot. What's it say when there is a Slingshot with an angry clown painted on it and a skeleton in the passenger seat. And this is NOT THE CRAZIEST THING in this show. Heck, it barely makes it into the top 100 craziest things on this show. (I binged it on Saturday while it was raining all day.)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles out of the shadows. When they are breaking shredder out of the police van they use a slingshot. Pretty cool chase scene with a slingshot.

Found Another! Grande Communications (Texas Internet) has a commercial that shows a Slingshot - out in a dusty desert! Why someone would drive a SS in the dust is beyond me. But I guess it shows how fast their internet is ????
