Typical summer screwing from big oil....
No - big government!
-
Big oil raises the prices...not the government....corporate greed...at work...
-
Only thing is, your premium prices aren't that much more than regular. Here in Texas, it's quite the jump. I filled up the SS yesterday for 2.93 I think, regular was 2.43.

Actually ........... CA... from whence the OP hails ... just implemented an increase in state gasoline tribute .... methinks this was the predicate for the gentleman's complaint and subsequent post ....

Ouch!!!!! Where are you located that the gas is so high. I'm in south Ga and gas here is 2.49 regular
-
Yes, here in California we not only have to deal with the ups and downs of oil, but we also get the pleasure of some very big fees imposed by our state. took this snap a few months back when I was bored at the pump
I especially like the "plus all other applicable state and local sale taxes and fees" part
I also find it interesting that its a flat fee instead of a percent that might actually go down if the price of fuel dropped
-
This is what our friends right next-door in Arizona are paying.

Then why do the same people sell the gas for so much less in a state immediately to my right? Our state imposes ridiculous fees and taxes on the gas where Arizona does not. That is a state issue .

Typical summer screwing from big oil....
Our high fuel prices are not caused by the oil companies, its the cause of electing Democrats to our state government who 's only goal seems to increase taxes!

thats just about the best you will find around here except its for regular not premium. if you want/need premium it will be north of $4
-
They just said it’s because of a west coast ( refinery fires) shortage of summer blend....
-
since California is broke and mismanaged....and over flowing with sanctuary citizens....it will only get worse.....
I’d like to see it fall into the ocean.....either that or give California back to Mexico...with everything in it.....then build the wall between it and Arizona...problem solved.
-
Just paid $3.19 for 91 octane premium here...
$2.79 for regular.
-
Since California is already broke, And takes so much of it's money from it's residents and gives it to the illegal immigrants, it is REALLY going to fall on hard times when PRESIDENT Trump buses all the illegal immigrants to the established sanctuary cities and dumps them out with no federal money in their pockets.
I agree with Trump, since they want them, let them have them.

The prices are worse near the beaches
-
California may have high taxes on most things, but with Prop 13 our property taxes are are pretty darn low - especially if you have owned your property for a long time

CALIFORNIA has a 22 billion surplus - but still want more of our $$.
As far as us falling into the ocean.... as far as Corona is fine with me - I need some beachfront property
California might just build a wall..... so many of us are leaving - they are even proposing a "flight" tax. If you sell your house and leave for another state - pay the man on the way out.
