How do you change the front turn signal light?
Turn signal light replacement

I thought maybe there was a secret to getting at the bulb....
SURPRISE ......it’s a sealed unit.....that ”bulb” costs $183.....
Why would Polaris screw us like that?
-
BOO! Does someone not sell a replacement one?
-
It’s a sealed unit with no way to change the bulb....
I forgot LED never burn out.....
-
I detest this sort of engineering. Let's simply assembly and screw the customer in the process.
I hit a deer with my Hyundai SUV in January. No damage to drivability at all. Messed up front bumper & quarter panel, dented a door. It was all "assemblies", so $13,000 later...

Why would Polaris screw us like that?
Cause they can..............

I’m outside looking at my issue. I bought the turn signal conversion kit last year. My light bulb is not burnt out it seems the conversion kit has malfunctioned. I can get the light to work if I unplug the kit. I have a complaint logged with the supplier. Updates coming.
-
You think that is bad wait till you start noticing burnt out LEDs in your taillights.
-
Why does everyone Iie to us?
Remember when Comcast told you if you paid for Cable tv you wouldn’t see any commercials?
Remember when LEDs first appeared? The major selling points were uses less electricity and THEY LAST FOREVER! NEVER BURN OUT.
When you hear the checks in the mail....that meant you were screwed...
Stop lying and just tell us we are going to screw you....I might have a chance to grab some lubricant....and maybe kiss me first so I don’t feel so used.
-
I have the update.....good news kinda....
The kit is faulty....they want it returned for a store credit....looks like they all must be failing.....and there probably won’t be a replacement...my guess...
And I don’t have to spend $185 on a new light.

Just so you know LEDs have always had a rated estimate run time. I don't think I have ever seen a spec sheet that listed "lasts forever".

That was the hype when they first came out. Obviously they found a way to make them not last forever. That’s called job security.

No, it never was. You probably never read the instructions or fine print. Pays to do your homework. All LEDs will dim over time and none are made perfect, so yes they can last up to 20x what incandescent bulbs can, but some will have some sort of a manufacturer defect. They we're never listed as lasting forever.

Bigdog, have any of your LEDs on your SlingShot actually failed?
Bill

Where does it say the LEDs will last forever?! That's just the name of their LLC. LOL as per usual you tote improper information. Look up REAL specs for LEDs.

80 years is forever if you die before that....

Dude, it's an LLC! If you believe that claim I've got some great swamp land to sell you in Florida. There is no spec sheets or hard data. Just some loosely put together website.

I’ve had everyone of these replaced free for what you see. Is that the actual light or the electrical connection between LEDs.

It’s on the internet...they can’t lie about it...
