Hopefully, my solution to the exhaust fume issue

Just want to add my two cents worth here. As an old cruiser rider my first mods were pipes and big air. Followed with a fuel controller of some sort. Pipes usually included dumping the cat. Objective was a little more power and a better tone/louder exhaust.

Now, welcome to the Ecotec. Dump the cat, exhaust manifold and the whole exhaust pipe/muffler. Gain? Zip, nada, almost nothing. Almost no horsepower gain, better sound (depending on the system), fumes in the cockpit and all over those who are following you.

Glad I took Jeff Welter advice. Went with the sidewinder, kept the cat. Love the tone and smell.
