New Filebase section containing installation documents for vendors products.

For vendors that want to email me install instructions on some or all of their products I will host them in the https://slingshotinfo.com/filebase/ area of the forum. I laid the section out last night and uploaded a few install documents that I had to give everyone an idea how it would look.

Recent uploads will appear on the main page. The right sidebar has vendors that you can click to see if they have documents available for you to download.

Vendors that want to participate email the PDF files to robert@rabtech.com

No. I was going to see how many that I was sent to upload first. I believe alot of Slingmods items just have a YouTube video for install info. Which I guess I could link a video in the description...

Actually the videos work great. I can add the link to the youtube video. It will play in the window that opens. I can also make the blue button send you to the youtube video. Here is a picture of what I am talking about..

I guess I need to make sure this is ok with the vendors before I put any more online. They may want to keep people heading over to their site for the information.

I don't think that any of them will have an issue with the forum having a central repository for just the install info but you never know…..

I have made the framework and setup examples of both videos and PDF downloads for members and vendors to see. I think that it is a great addition to the site and its a added bonus for the vendors. If your on the forum and you have downloaded the install sheet and you still need help you can just make a post and ask anyone on the forum…..

The vendors can post their permission here saying its ok for me to add their videos and install sheets. Or they can email me at robert@rabtech.com and let me know its ok. And if the vendors have PDF files please email them to the same address.

Ok, I think its time to put the laptop up for a few hours…. I just lost my DSL internet connection. Someone must have hit a telephone pole between my house and town……

well I just checked and no other vendors have sent me any more instruction files. I recieved some from a member but remember I cant use them because the vendor has not approved me to upload them. That is why I mentioned that only vendors send me the files or just a message approving me to upload what I find at their site.

I belive DDM will be sending me some PDF file this week and I am thinking twist and slingshotonly may send some instructions this week for me to upload.
