I had a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT that had some kind of transmision problem that Dodge could not or would not fix. The trans would just quit pulling going do the road. Switch if off reset it when you cranked it back up. Sheriff dept. had 2 in their back lot that had the same problem. No recalls no nothing and they would not even fix the problem, kind of like the Ford recall right now
Decals are going live in the store tonight.

So I got around to putting these HUGE decals on the trailer. Had to work to position it because of all the screws.
So I put one in the headlight, which unfortunately meant he took one through the head too, but hey, it's white on white. And it's just a grazing wound.

Need to get you a Three's Da Life sticker for that canvas as well!

Friends don't let Friends Buy FORDS!
But we are always happy to swing by and pick them up in our Chevy to get them home from the service center!
-
Feeling the love right now , for sure.

Can "Fords" have friends??????????????????

even better to see that it was all covered by warranty and nothing out of pocket, however I did see that they put an extra 121 miles on your vehicle. hmmmm. lol

Did they fill the gas tank????
-
that's a good point, i'm sure they had to test drive, the mileage seems a bit excessive, but who knows...
it's a good case to take a vehicle in there nearly empty, make them put gas in it or at least prevent them from test driving too much

The reason for the mileage was really interesting..
I called them the morning of the day after they said it would be ready. I had a feeling it wasnt fixed because they would have called me to come get it. When the service guy answered my call he sounded like he was really dreading my call. He said that they did get it together last night and when they test drove it the gears were hammering super hard between 2nd and 3rd and 7th and 8th. He said that they were going to pull it back out and go through it again.
Well I told him to hang tight and that i wanted to talk to the regional service manager before they pulled it back out. He said he understood and to let him know what i wanted to do next.
So i spent about 5 hours on and off trying to get the rep on the phone. About the 6th hour i just gave up and called my service guy back and said to just fix it. That is when he said that it was ready for me to come get. It was all fixed. He said they called ford and they told his tech to go drive it for about 2.5 hours and the transmission would straighthen out and relearn everything.
And guess what... it worked and that is why it has all those miles on it.
