A vision in my mind that came to reality over a period of eight 18 hour days at @Painter's magic kingdom.
The first week of November I made a trip up to Indiana to spend some time with Jim to see what we could create. For eight days we worked each other to the point of exhaustion, battling cold weather and an incredible work load that neither of us imagined. A normal paint job on a sling includes about 24 body parts, we stopped counting at 75.
I would like to thank SlingRider and maverick5990 for showing up first thing Saturday morning. They sanded till they bled and got us off to a great start. To help complete the recreation Ross drove down from Wisconsin to lend his new found talent, the airbrushing of all the chrome paint.
My vision was to re-create the look of a 1966 GT350. It is not a Cobra, GT350, or Shelby, but instead the "Spirit" of them all in the namesake the American Indians called the Mustang.
Please welcome the "Spirit" of your Slingshot Owner's Group" which will be launching soon.
