Spring product idea... In development now

Currently working on a new to market product that should be ready by late spring just in time for the summer. Want release too much detail other than it will be an entry level summer sun shade idea that can be stored away behind the seats when not needed. Will work with existing MeanSling Sport top mirror mounting points but does not require the purchase of the top. Retail cost will be far below ANY shade offered to date. Shade will provide 90% full overhead sun protection while still allowing the open air feel.

The one limitation that cannot be worked around is the rear height of the cover. It will be in line with the top of the hoops. Very tall people with helmets "may" have issues but really not bad.

Before anyone ask the answer is no... Meaning that it will not be changed from it's current design. Purpose and cost dictate function in this case.

I'm working on another design that will be late next year at best. This may be a better option for the very tall but will cost much more.

Still being worked on. Its a side project for both parties. Working on it during the holiday season can take a little more time. Been trying to work out pricing. The mesh top is going to be the tricky part. Looking into two domestic suppliers, but could also use an overseas supplier ( good company that employs a good number of people stateside). Bringing it to market at a good price point that people will pay is the deciding factor. Domestic allows for purchasing lower production runs and keep capital more fluid. Importing requires larger stocking orders (LOTS BIGGER) but reduces cost dramatically.
