I don't have spacers, I just don't like the idea of finding out my studs are not strong / long enough for racing while doing 120 on a stretch
Lug nuts are terrible. Change them while you can.

Hopefully they are pretty tough. We have seen several that have smacked an object and the studs are still holding on strong. It's just those dang crappy lug nuts that will bite you in the butt.
Changing to different studs couldn't hurt though. Especially if you were going to torture the rims with extreme g forces.

Thanks Rab. I been wanting to change out the OEM lug nuts but did not know which quality replacements to get.

If I remember correctly there is no benefit to the longer studs as long as the lug nut is screwed on to the stud at least to the diameter of the stud. Another way of saying is if the stud is 1/2 inch diameter then the nut should be screwed on at least 1/2 inch deep. I hope that makes since to all of you.

Probably.. but I wouldn't buy lug nuts that cheap on principle. Its the only thing keeping your wheel on the sling

But they were a "steel"

the stock lug nuts were free, so they are obviously the best choice!

No, what are you going to do on the road if you have the problem that @rabtech had?
-
I don't have stock lugnuts so I'm good I'm sure I will invent my own unique problems!

not to worry- Polaris has that covered for you!

I can tell you what you would do.... You would have to call a rollback wrecker if your problem involved taking off the rim......

I think the tools are the same for these lugnuts. However it would be a low chance that a random thief would have your socket. And they are impossible to get down to with any other tool.

Well since they sell you 20 and we only need 15 can I get 2 more people to buy these and then send me their extras as well as yours @rabtech That way I know for sure we all match!!!
I agree with that

Actually I just bought a set that looks identical to those Rabtech posted off Amazon. $25.00 free shipping. Came with 24 lug nuts in the box. Guess they figure they got you covered all the way up to a 6 lug wheel. Got them in 2 days with Prime shipping.

Thanks Rabtech for the information. Me being frugal (not cheap I swear) bought a set on Amazon that look to be the same specs and the picture look pretty darn close to the Gorllias. $8 less and free shipping is a 12 pack! I will let you know what they look like when I get them in a couple of days. http://www.amazon.com/AccuWhee…oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

Lug nuts not worth being cheap about. I go with mcguard always. You can get the standard chrome with a wheel lock lug kit from Amazon for reasonable price and that's what they do is make locks for all stuff like wheels and manhole etc

Most of the lug nuts that look like the ones I purchased from Summit are probably the same... They most likely have some larger company that makes them and all these other companies rebrand them. The stock lugs are so bad that I would probably install anything that is available (aluminum or steel) as long as they are solid and have a good surface to slide a socket onto... If you look at the stock lugs in my first picture its clear that there is only a small contact area.. And it may work forever for you. OR it may bite you...
