Nice to meet you sir.
unfortunately for me riding to Maggie Valley would be over 4,400 miles round trip which is why I pray that someday the Las Vegas event will grow in size to be as big as Maggie Valley
heck even the Colorado Springs event would be over 2,000 miles round trip
Some of the most fun I have had with the Sling is driving across country - 4 times.
I seen your signature on the poster for the shirt adventure4me , but somehow Steve and I missed seeing you all week!
Can I be you when I grow up? You are my idol!
Guardian_Angel - I wasn't there or I'd have found you! Don't know how the signature got there - must have been a previous signing. I'm in New Mexico at the moment.
Thanks for all the photos you posted!

Yes - having read in other posts about your travels you are one of my Slingshot riding idols
Unfortunately I have a bit of sciatica and driving more than about 5 hours in a day gets very uncomfortable and negatively impacts the fun factor of the ride - - dont get me wrong this does not mean I will never take a long road trip in my slingshot, it just means I am going to need to plan it out and cut it into legs of around 300 miles and take my time getting where I want to go..
^^^^ I know sciatica is no fun! Shorter days makes for a more restful trip anyway. Hope you'll get the chance!

Oh don't worry, I fully plan on it, just need to get to a point where the extra time required is more easy to find than it is right now - - to be honest even if the sciatica were not an issue I would still like cutting longer trips into short legs - I like taking my time and enjoying what there is to see
we made it home last night around 930pm. Was to tired to post but I would like to say again it was a pleasure meeting everyone. Thanks airoutlaw and Guardian_Angel for the scenic trip back.
Made it home at 9:48. 14 1/2 hours. Need a couple hours rest then I’m ready to head out again! Was great seeing all y’all. Looking forward to seeing many of y’all in Huntsville in a couple weeks.
Dave actually finished that monster? It's funny everyone at that table (around 12 of us) had those gigantic fish bowl margaritas except my wife as she was rocking the Fisher Price my first margarita. Dave's face with that first sip was priceless, if only I had snapped a pic of that.
I swear that table consumed at least 3 gallons of Tequila as those were some of the strongest I've ever seen. It was great to meet all of you and sorry we had to split so early, but we had to make that 2.5 hour trek home.
Great memories everyone!
That was a really fun dinner, had a great time relaxing after the long week of installs. Looking forward to the SOG event coming up in Alabama at the Polaris Factory!
FUN ! had by all..... Mountain rides, good food, and good company all around fun... Got home last night...
Marlene and I had a blast, with old friends and new. We cannot wait to see all of you again.
California, 5 days to get home. Talked to him when he left the motel
hey FunCycle was the California guy not too tall and have long grey hair??
The wife and I met a couple at Kerrville from California by the names of Greg and Janice. They were going to visit with their son for a bit after kerrville. Thereafter make there way on to Maggie valley.
Super couple. I believe they are Bookfacers.

Miss N and I had a ball at MV. Good to meet and greet some great folks. Looking forward to next year. Just hope that the format will allow for some more vendors at the fairgrounds. Was a little disappointed in that.
