2012 Harley Road King, and my wife has 2005 Super Glide Custom. Both are in the garage, and both stay there most of the time. I need to just sell them. Only ridden about 3500 miles in the past 4 seasons. Have put 50k on the SS (between the two of them) in that same time.
2014 HONDA GOLDWING
my old girl friend is up for sale now as we speak 😞
I had an 06 Harley soft tail Night Train. It got stolen in San Antonio while on a road trip.
Then I got a 2012 Ultra Classic. Sold it after I got my Sling in 2016.
My 05 Deluxe has been waiting to play for four and a half years. Poor thing needs a new battery, gas, oil, tires, and brake pads to be road worthy again.
My 20,000 mile Softail had a new rear tire and brake pads along with ALL fluids changed the summer of 2017. Like I said maybe 500 miles since then. It is for sale

Old age catches up to all of us. At least we got here and still standing up.

Ya think? Check out that tag. I bought this in 1986 when my knees were 26 years old...

Who among us ever expected the SS to come along??? I sure didn't. I remember in the back of my mind lamenting the day I would have to put up the Bike. I need to get busy letting mine go so someone else can enjoy her. Riding since 17 it is hard to do.
What an unexpected pleasure the SS is for all of us!

Agreed! I had it in the back of my mind that I'd get a Can Am Spyder one day when it felt right to start riding again (meaning moving farther from town). I just never got there. Then I saw the Slingshot and put one in the garage almost immediately. I feel bad for my GPz sitting all these years but for what it's worth, and what I paid for it ($1,500 in 1986) I just don't have a reason to let it go. One of these days I'll run into someone who really wants it (I hope) and if not, maybe my wife will let me hang it from the ceiling as art someday. And maybe not.
I love both my slings but I still have two motorcycles and one I ride every Tuesday with about 25 guys on a lunch ride. We have a great time.

Can I just say how amazed I am at the maturity of this forum? 6 pages deep and not one person has said "Your Mom!"

There goes the neighborhood. And I believe it's "Your Momma!"

Loved my Gold Wings and didn't want the last one to feel unwanted so I sold it and couple weeks after the Slingshot came to stay with me. Hope it went to a home where it will be loved.....

considering the age that many of us are "your Mamma" might be to old and broke down - just sayin

My wife hates my Harley ( Doesn't like the ride ) she loved my 05 Goldwing and when I sold it 7 years later she wanted me to replace it with another Goldwing but I didn't due to us not traveling much because of work and my 3 sons, so I replaced it with a Suzuki M109 instead lol , the owner of my 05 Goldwing still brings it to me to service it & when it's here my wife looks at me with that face that says " I want a Goldwing " but she's slowly loving the slingshot , which she has no choice. I doubt I'll ever buy another 2 wheel bike again !
