If you have to travel to a shop (because you are spoiled like me and don't wanna crawl around on the ground!) @Turbosling made the Splash Gaurd a perfect fit to take a trip in the sling!! If you would rather use it as a shielder from an unwanted passenger instead of undercarriage protection it also works good in this position!!
That's how great Alpha is....they make products that they don't even know have multiple uses! :cool:

I have to modify my skid plate. The 16.5's have the heat shroud behind the radiator. I have to cut a flap for that air to escape.

This is some nice and durable stainless steel material. Only thing it was missing was a purple logo for the roadkill to see as you drive over it!
The "unwanted passengers" could be a swinging wife as your exiting a 30mph corner @90mph, and annoying kid always scrolling through the radio after every song or just because you don't need your passenger seeing how you stay awake on those long and tiresome drives!! Probably not number 3 for me or most but I'm sure there are those few...... @Tripod 
I agree it's a very good skid plate. When They fork lifted my old Sling after the accident they barely marred it. I lost the picture.
